Terms and conditions

1. Purpose

These simplified terms and conditions govern private-hire bookings made with "Élysée Privé" (full operator identity on the Legal notice page). Any booking request implies acceptance of these terms.

2. Booking and deposit

A booking request is just that — a request: it commits the driver only once accepted. Once accepted, a deposit may be requested through a secure payment link to confirm the ride; the driver may also waive it. If requested, its amount is calculated under the stated conditions and deducted from the confirmed price. The remaining balance is payable directly to the driver on board, in cash or by contactless card.

3. Pricing

The price shown when booking is an estimate calculated from distance, duration, time of day, and the options chosen. The driver may adjust this price before or when accepting the request; the final price is then communicated to the client.

4. Cancellation policy

Standard cancellation

You may cancel free of charge up to 12 hours before pickup. If a deposit has already been paid, it will be refunded within the announced timeframe.

Last-minute booking

For a booking made less than 12 hours before pickup, the free-cancellation deadline can no longer be met. If a deposit is requested and paid, it will not be refunded if the client cancels. This condition is shown before payment.

No-show

A no-show means that the driver arrived at the agreed place and time, but the client did not attend. In this situation, the deposit is retained.

5. Presence at pickup

Clients may be asked to reconfirm their presence before pickup, particularly for rides booked in advance. Without confirmation or a response from the client, the driver may consider the ride unfulfilled, under the terms set out in the cancellation policy above.

6. Liability

The driver commits to providing the ride under the agreed conditions (vehicle, timing, options). The driver cannot be held liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond their control (traffic, weather conditions, a flight or train delay reported too late).
